Is Blood Urea Nitrogen Level Of 52 A Cause For Concern?
I have high blood pressure. My doctor has prescribed valsartan 320 mg., cardvedilil 3.125 mg. and diltiazem 300 mg.. I am also taking allopurinol 100 mg ( due to kidney damage from cystplatnin administered for stage III ovarian cancer 25 years ago). Lately my bun 35 and creatin 2.05 levels have gotten higher. My urea nitrogen level is 52. I am a white female, age 73. I do not smoke or drink and do watch my diet intake of fats and do not eat a high protein diet. Could my blood pressure meds have an impact on the bun and creatin levels?
