hello, i currently have a urainary track infection and i am on my second dose of antibiotics for it because it has not healed yet. i finished my second dose today, but for about a week straight whenever i make a bowel movement it burns worse and worse everyday and theres blood when i wipe. i am wondering if the antibiotics are maybe causing this. i am 19. i have also had mono, sinus infection, strep throat, and liver problems within the past 2 months if that helps.
Dear-thanks for using our service and will try to help you with my advise, I understand that you have had multiples medical problems within the last 2 months and should evaluate your immune system to make sure that you are not immune suppress and that is giving you more suceptibility to infections. The bloody bowels could be from antibiotics , C,difficilli is a bacteria that can create colitis after treatment of antibiotics. I recommend you to have an evaluation with your doctor and get samples of your stools for bacteria and parasite. Also need an urine sample for culture. I hope that my advise has been helpful DR.JC
