Suggest Treatment For UTI Infections

I was seen today by my PCP and diagnosed with a UTI. Put on Levaquin (I have a history of UTI with complications) but am in extreme pain and don t know what to do to treat it since I already know it s a UTI. Any suggestions on what I can do to ease the pain, or should I head off to the ER?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. If needed go for culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take antibiotics accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. For pain relief you can take paracetamol or diclofenac. It is prescription based drug so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
