Is Body Massage Safe To Have At 17th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi can you please tell me is it safe to have a massage at 17 weeks? should I lye on my stomach or not, I was told that one side should have a pillow under one of my hips (not sure what side) and will it affect the baby. So really what should I not have during a massage I have had a headache for a few days

Thanks for your query.
I have read & understood your query.
Once trhere is pregnancy no pressure or massage on abdomen is advised. So you can not lie down on your stomach/ nor you can have abdominal massage.
If at all you have back ache You can apply muscle relaxants gently on the painful part.This can be done in sitting posture with a pile of pillows in front & pregnant lady resting her abdomen on it while sitting behind the pile.
Head ache will need just head massage / with local pain relievers ( like Vicks )/ a plain paracetamol pill after food.
