Is Body Stiffness A Side Effect Of Atorvastatin?

I am presentyl taking atorvastatin. My body stays stiff if I m not up and on the move. Could this medicine be causing this problem? I ve taken it since Simvastatin stopped working. I m wondering if I should ask my doctor to try me on another statin drug or is there something better. YYYY@YYYY

Absolutely yes. Rhabdomyolysis is a well known side effects of statins. Stop it and have a blood test and check for CPK levels.
