Brain fever that you are referring to is nothing but the inflammation of the brain mostly due to viral or bacterial infection.The other terminologies are encephalitis and in some cases also meningitis. Fever with delirium(confused state of mind) is a common symptom
Like all infections it has to be treated by antibiotics. It is better to be investigated and treated as early as possible.
