Is Breast Cancer Infectious?

what if the situation is this, "a mother doesn't know that she has a breastcancer and she gavebirth to a healthy baby & she breastfeed the baby... So my question is... Is there possibility that she already transfer the cancer to her newborn baby? what will happen to her baby?

hello dear. breast cancer cells do not get transferred to baby by breast feeding. So there in no reason to accept that. Nothing will happen to the baby. But mother must get herself treated at the earliest. During treatment we do not recommend breast feeding from opposite breast as she may transfer some chemo drugs to her baby.
