Is Breast Feeding Advisable Post Intake Of Postinor?

Hi am 34 years. My hubby n i do the withdrawal but am not sure he pulled out on time d last time. I took postinor 2 first dose after 72 hours then read on the leaflet to consult your doctor if breastfeeding. So I skipped the second dose and haven t breastfed my 10 months old baby for 20 hours now. Is it safe to breastfed while taking postinor 2?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Postinor containing IUCD and low dose postinor tablets is a drug of choice for contarception in lactating mothers. Rather it will preserve your bone density during lactation.
It doesn't cause any harm to baby if the baby is nursed three hours after taking postinor as the concentration of postinor in breast milk is negligible after three hours.
Hope it helps best.
Take your best care and of your baby.
