Is Breathing Difficulty Normal After Xiphoid Process?
My pushed on my xiphoid process because I was trying to let him feel the lump where it hurt, well he pushed and poked and smashed. ( very painful at the time ) .. But when I got home about 4 hours later it hurt so bad I was sweating and had to struggle to breath, when I say struggle, I m talking about when people describe a heart attack. Is not being able (very hard) breath normal ?

Pain only on deep inspiration suggest pleurisy. Pleurisy means inflammation of pleura.
And this can be due to many causes but the most common one are
1. Pleural effusion
2. Lung infections like TB or pneumonia.
3. Lung congusions
So get done chest x ray to rule out all these as treatment is different for all causes. For symptomatic relief you can take painkiller.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
