Is Breech Presentation Of The Baby Shown In Ultrasound A Cause For Concern?
Good morning doctor, My latest antenatal study by U/S s impression are as follows: 1.A single viable foetus with growth corresponding to weeks 34 by G.A in breech presentation. 2.Estimated foetal weight : 2243 +/- 336 3.Chronological G.A.: 34 weeks 6 days 4.G.A by U/S: 34 weeks 5.EDD(CGA): 06.10.2015 6.Lower femoral epiphysis is visualized & proximal tibial epiphysis is not visualized-Suggestind foetal maturity of atleast 34 weeks and les than 36 weeks. 7.Single loop of cord loosely around the foetal neck . 8.No foetal congenital anomalies visualized at present. 9.Normal U/S study of maternal abdomen. 10.Foetal heart rate:130-140 BPM Is there anything to worry about?How is my baby?How can i change the breech position?Will it change naturally?
Normal delivery is possible even in breech presentation. You have to attend a centre with options for emergency surgeries. If there is any delay in progress, emergency Caesarean section may be required.

Hello, Normal delivery is possible even in breech presentation. You have to attend a centre with options for emergency surgeries.
