Is Bright Red Blood After Sex Breaking Of Hymen?

I had sex first time when I finished my periods. On the 6th day of periods and there was of course not at all bleeding but after haing sex I slept and after waking up I found myself bled which was fresh and proper red whereas the periods blood is always dark red and thick. Can a Dr please clear it tht is it periods or breaking of hymen?
