I donated blood 22 hours ago. I have donated before and never had any pain. This last time, they inserte the needle wrong and had to stop as I was clotting. I have a bruise on my arm and cannot fully extend it. There is also tingling in my hand. Is this normal?
Hi Dont worry.its quite common to have bruise after wrong puncture due to extravasation of blood into subcutaneous tissue.it wil take time to resolve.if your having pain and incresing in size apply ice.tingling sensation in hand may be due to irritation of adjacent nerve.everything wil come to normal.dont massage .
