Is Burning Chest After Being Exposed To Ammonia And Bleach A Cause For Concern?

I accidently mixed cleaning ammonia with bleach, about a cup of each. I was using this to clean my bathroom floors. My eyes started to burn and it was very hard to breathe. I was there for about 10 minutes off and on, stepping out to get a fresh breath. After the burn I googled the affects of mixing these dangerous chemicals. It has been 30 minutes and my eyes do not hurt, but my chest still burns a bit. I feel like I am getting better but my chest/lungs still mildly burn. Do I need to go to the hospital? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Yes it is a cause of concern if you are experiencing chest discomfort and difficulty breathing. You might want to get checked into an ER and inhale oxygen for a while to relieve the breathing problem if you are still experiencing any symptoms. If it has completely resolved, then wait for a while and inhale fresh outdoor air. Do not go back to the site where you mixed it or used it. Stay away from the mixture and call for help if needed.
