Is Burning Pain In Pelvic Region A Sign Of Periods?

Hi,

I am on the first day of my period. And I have been feeling a slight burning pain in my pelvic/stomach region. Not enough to keep my from my daily activities, or even to take a pill. I am a hypchondriac of sorts, so I just wanted to know if thats a common sign of periods.

a burning pain is not typical for period related pain, however, many women experience their periods differently and it is certainly not impossible thr your pain is related to your period. if the pain resolves when your period resolves, then you can assume that it was your period, if it persists, then you may want to get evaluated to make sure it is not something else. please let me know if you have any more questions.
