I am taking inflameze active in place of Celebrex both of which I have taken for a long period. The Celebrex and then Inflameze Active. The doctor said that there was a risk with taking Celebrex as I had some blood pressure problems. I also take medication for Aortic Stenosis which I have but have no symptoms to speak of.. I was wondering if going back onto the Celebrex would be a problem?? Inflameze active is Bioceutical product to treat back and joint pain.
Hello, Celebrex contains Celecoxib, a Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. You should not take the Celecoxib because of the following reasons 1. Celecoxib at higher or more frequent doses to an increased likelihood of heart attack or stroke. 2. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease ( you have both Hypertension and Aortic Stenosis) 3. Celecoxib increased risk of gastrointestinal problems. 4. Celecoxib may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. As you hypertension, bleeding will adds fuel on the fire.
Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
