Is Cerelac Necessary Along With Sufficient Breast Milk For Infant?

hi i have a question about breastfeeding, my son is 7 months now, and he is exclusively breastfed, and now also breastmilk is sufficient and he is doing good, but everyone insists to give him cerelac along with breastfeeding, iam little concerned whether giving cerelac would make my son to reduce breastfeeding? please help me make decision. thanks a lot doctor.

Thank you for asking querry.
As per the age of your child you should have started weaning foods.
Start with one food item per week like dalia,purees of carrots,sweet potato.
Continue with breast feeding but also start theses items.
There is no need of giving cerelac as so many natural food available.
