Post nasal drip, and migraine headaches. Citrobacater Koseri found in nasal swab test. Perscribed Clindamycin. Is it contagious to my 92 year old father ? Should I stay away from my 92 year old father until I am cleared of my infection of this bacteria?
Citrobacter coseri is contagious it may be spread by direct contact with hospital staff members, through ingestion of environmental sources (fecal-oral route) but person-to-person transmission is more prevalent. It is better to stay away until your recovery.
