Is Clarithromycin For Tonsillitis Safe During Pregnancy?
I ve recently been prescribed Clarithromycin for a case of tonsilitis and I have a nexplanon implant in my arm . Will the antibiotics affect my implants protectiveness against pregnancy?

Nexplanon is a progesterone only implant containing hormone Etonorgestrel.
It will not have any interaction with Clarithromycin so you can take it as advised by your doctor.
Also it will not affect the efficacy or protectiveness against pregnancy.
