Is Clear Liquid Discharge From Toenail Post Injury A Cause For Concern?

I stubbed my toe the other day pretty badly and what I stubbed it on went up under my nail it was bleeding afterwards and i figured I just cut the skin under the nail so i cleaned it and left it as it was. I noticed today it was wet and Its running a clear liquid out from under the nail, the toenail is lose but still somewhat attached. I do have a history of ingrown nails (including nailbed infections due to the ingrown nails). The nail in question being a nail that was removed and grew back in a strange manner but never caused me problems. Is this a sign of infection setting in or is it just from trauma and i can expect the nail to detach and fall off?
