Please I had an ultrasound scan with a gestation age of about 4weeks and I purchased mifekit. I have taken the oral single dose and and will be inserting the remaining 4 into vagina this evening which is the 48hrs but have started seeing heavy clots of blood this morning. Could there be any problem please? Please hear me out doctor. Thanks

Hi,

Mifepristone causes arrest of fetal growth which can start automatic pains and bleeding in few patients. The vaginal pills would cause cervical dilatation, stronger labor pains and expulsion of fetus. If the bleeding is too much, consult your prescribing doctor. Otherwise, carry on with the instructions given on pack of medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
