Is Codeine Syrup Safe For Babies?
Hi, I have 6 month old son, who is suffering from Wheezing Bronchities. Hospitalized for 2 days and wheezing reduced. However After a week it wheezing recurred along with Dry cough. Our Doctor has prescribed Mitslinctus Codeine for cough. IS this syrup safe for my baby?

Hi...please do not use Codeine at this age. It is not licensed to be used at this age. The safety profile has not been studied and established at this age for this particular drug.
