Is Coffee Consumption Contraindicated When On Hypertensive Medication?

Hi doctor, I have been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse and left ventricular wall hypertrophy (15%). I have been prescribed 10mg Lisinopril for hypertension. Weight, diet and exercise excellent condition. Is coffee consumption contraindicated when on hypertensive medication? Thank you!

Hello
Coffee consumption in moderation--perhaps no more than two cups a day--should be fine in your condition. That's assuming your blood pressure is well controlled with the Lisinopril
