Taking medications like Zolfresh (which is a central nervous depressant) along with alcohol or alcohol containing beverages (also central nervous depressants) may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, impaired concentration and thinking or judgement or motor incoordination. Since you had taken lower dose of Zolfresh that could be the reason you did not experience the harmful effects as explained above. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol if you wish to take tranquilizers like Zolfresh & avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery.
