Is Completely Weaning Off Suboxone Possible?

Hello, I have been sober now for 7 years-however, with the help of Suboxone. I have been taking it *as prescribed for that same amount of time & would love to finally get off this as well & finally TRULY live a normal life free of this medication. However, all the research i have done has only found serious horror stories. Not sure if that is just the internet at work or if they are being honest but it has terrified me. Can a person truly get off suboxone (buprenorphine]naloxone) successfully AND remain sober? Can a person minimize the withdrawl symptoms to make them managebale until the brain & by extension body, recover?b
