Hello dear Understand your concern There may be chance of pregnancy as semen was ejaculated around the vagina and your act was not completely protective. And also you did sex around the time of ovulation again there is possibility of pregnancy. I generally advice to take unwanted 72 with in 72 hour of sexual intercourse again to prevent the pregnancy. So please take unwanted 72 to prevent pregnancy. As it contain high progesterone, there may be possibility of irregularity in menstruation due to high progesterone level. But it is temporary disruption. Unwanted 72 pill is very effective in preventing pregnancy about 90-95 percent. After taking pill if period will delay by 12-14 days then still you can terminate the pregnancy by using mifepristone plus misoprostol under the advice of gynecologist.
