Is Conception Possible While Having TB?

Hi Dr. I am taking treatment of tb since march 2016. M having tb in my large intestine. My Dr has prescribed me medicines such as A-Z, AKT2, banedone, happie-d. I am married since 2&half yrs. Me n my hubby we both need a healthy baby.. Can we plan for a baby now?

Hello,

If you are still taking treatment for TB, we do not recommend to conceive to prevent fetus malformation or other abnormalities.

Once you stop treatment, should consult with gynecologist about your having a healthy baby.
