Is Conception Possible While On Treatment For PCOS?
Hii.i am 26 years old,bachelor.planning to marry in 2018 but i am detected with thyroid and PCOS since last 2 years.i hav consulted with doctors and after taking medicine my thyroid is been controlled now.but i am aware of Pcos.i dont miss my periods since 1 year after i get into the medical treatment..now doctor has given me polisitol od..i just want to know is there posibility to concieve as i m under trearment n lookinh forwrd for a baby after my marriage.will there be any complication happen during pregnancy if i take medicine on regular basis....
Main problem with infertility in PCOD is a hormonal imbalance. It is good that your hormones are controlled and you have normal menstrual cycle with medical management.
So no need to worry much. You can definitely conceive with current medicine.
In PCOD patients, risk of spontaneous abortion is higher as compare to normal females. But with good hormone control, this can be prevented. So do close follow up with your gynecologist during pregnancy.
