hello mam hw r u i need ur suggestion and opinion regarding problem of my wife,she had DNC one and half year back after that c had dysmenorrhea..any how it was managed .after 4-5 cycles.c was prescribed novelon.usg -simple right follicular ovarian cyst,report during that time.recently she had an acute pain abdomen with massive sticky clotted blood which occurs before 7-8 days prior to date of menstrual.y this occurs mam..actually i m afraid that will she able to conceive or there is any risk in that.what precaution should we take prior to plan a baby.still now she is suffering frm pain abdomen unable to stand or walk,there is no bleeding at present bleeding lasts for 5-6 days.

Once this is clarified and the situation is brought under control, further plans can be made. Follicular cysts are common occurrence and do not hinder conception or fertility. As she is on pills, pregnancy can be contemplated only after cessation of this treatment and normal ovulation attained. Meanwhile you can go ahead with the rest of the investigations like a hormone profile and tubal patency tests. Male factor also should be assessed. Hope this helps.
