Is Constant Nausea And Diarrhea Due To Over Dosage Of Cytomel?

For months( since late May, 2016, I have suffered from constant nausea and diarrhea . Historically I started Cytomel by taking 1/2 of the smallest dosage daily. Several years ago my doctor increased the dosage to 3 tablets twice daily. In my own mind it seems Imay be taking too much. ( I missed a dose and the daily nausea did not commence. Along with this I have regular diarrhea and my hair has been thinning . I have felt horrible since early June 2016 from the constant nausea--it started with sensations of an abundance of butterflies in my lower stomach. I have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy CTScan and pill-cam test-- all negative. It occurred to me it could be the 75 mg of Cytomel a day. What say you? I have also had great weight loss.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Overdose of cytomel might be causing the symptoms.

Please get a thyroid profile done. Your TSH value should be low normal. If it is lower than that, you need to reduce the dose of cytomel to 50mg.

Please revert back with the test results. Thank you
