Is Constipation In An Infant Normal While On Lactogen Supplement?
My daughter is 13 days older she was not sucking early so for timing being I was asked to give cows milk by my mother in law so I gave for nearly 7 days then I checked in net it was shown not to give cows milk so I stopped it and started lactogen. Her motion day before yesterday was good she went 3 times and urinated 8 times. But yesterday fully she didn t go motion only she urinated about 10 times is it normal or is it because of lactogen. I give her about 30 ml for 1 scoop count. Is it okay to start lactogen in 12 days.

I really appreciate your concern, breast feeding is highly advisable if child can not sucks well then better to see the pediatrician for advise and to teach the mother how to feed the baby but avoid top feeding as long as it is possible, hope this information helps.
