Is Consultation With Oncologist Advisable While Suffering With Anemia And Kidney Problems?

Hi I am 56 year old female. I have diabetes, osteoporosis, kidney problems, psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. When I saw my kidney Dr. last week to go over blood work. He told me if anemia wasn t better in six to eight months he was going to send me to a hematologist / oncologist. Should I just go ahead and make appointment with one now? Should I be concerned?
