General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

We usually do not recommend to take alcohol when diagnosed with myopericarditis. Alcohol itself is a contributing factor to myocarditis and pericarditis. So, now you decide.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
