Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an angiogram on Monday and was dx'd with coronary artery spasms. My cardiologist really pooh pooh'ed it and said it's common in young females, put me on a calcium channel blocker and nitro and said return to normal. I'd like to know more about what to watch for as I've read about an increased risk of heart attack and sudden death, but he seems to think it's no big deal.
hello there I understand your concern Your cardiologist is right in dismissing your concerns Keep a healthy lifestyle up with exercise to develop a good collateral flow formation
You don't require a nitro though for a life time
Hope that helps
