Is Decreased Leukorrhea Normal After Stopping Progesterone Medicine?
I am 13 weeks pregnant and I was on progesterone until this Sunday. I have noticed a decrease on my vaginal discharge/leukorrhea. Is it normal. I have also have different twitches and gas which I think is normal but still concerns me. I m just not conformable about stopping progesterone since I also have pcos.
Progesterone is used as per your body requirements, not related to PCOS because now you are pregnant. Now you say decrease in vaginal discharge, and that is not leukorrhea because if you have leukorrhea, the discharge is thick and increased. It is normal to have vaginal discharge during pregnancy for some patients. I think it might be a case of vaginal candida overgrowth. Anyway, I do not recommend to start any medication at this early stage of pregnancy. Better keep regular follow ups with your caring doctor.
All the best and God bless both of you. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
