Is Degenerative Disc Disease A Cause For Headache And Change In Taste?
I have been experiencing a headache and just realized that carbonated drinks have a funny taste. I first noticed it last night at a basketball game. I had a beer . . . I rarely drink beer and dismissed it. I just opened a Pellegrino which I drink regularly and had the same sensation. I have degenerative disc disease which I have been having issues with and had dismissed the headaches to that.
dear friend you have not shared which level of the spinal column you have the degenerated disc disease. secondly the taste sensations are carried by cranial nerves which do not traverse the spinal column, there may be some other issue which is causing the problem, it is advisable to consult a neurologist to arrive at a correct diagnosis of the problem.
