Is Dementia Patient Recommended To Travel?

Hello, My mother has dementia and is already established in a proper care home, what I would like to ask is this, would it be detremental to her well being if she was moved 100 miles to another home just because a family member wanted her to be nearer ti them ??

Hello,

As far as the patient is transported with someone known there should not be any problem. Also, having a relative close by will be of great help to the dementia patient. Do not worry much and you can transport the patient to another home Care centre.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
