Is Deworming Advisable For A 5 Month Old Baby?

Hi.is it safe to deworm my baby of five months + he has been having stomach pain and have given him sementicon, bomoro, and Naspomin and non of them is working as he cannot sleep without crying all through the night. Please advise me on the way forward as this is giving My family a great concern... we ll appreciate a swift response.

Hello,

As per your history, no, it's not advisable at age of 5 months.

You can give syp albendazole after 6 months of age.

There is different dosage schedule for age less than a year and above.

So It would be better to consult with pediatrician for detailed clinical examination and Evaluation.
