No, Diapride is glinepiride. This is an oral hypoglycemic agent (OHA). This is widely used in diabetes.
Fibator is a combination of
Atorvastatin and
Fenofibrate. This is a combination drug from lipid lowering.
You have been prescribed these two medications for diabetes and
dyslipidemia.
I think you should consult your diabetes doctor to know the reason for which you were not prescribed Metformin, which is currently the drug of choice in diabetes.
Next, I would like to say that your back pain may be mechanical or may be due to degenerative disease of spine. Looking at your age, knee joint pain associated with back pain, I think you may have
osteoarthritis or some form of degenerative disease.
Imaging of the spine and knee is needed to identify the line of management. For the time being you may have
Paracetamol tablet 500 mg for pain releif (avoid 2nd dose within 6 hrs) till further diagnosis. Posture care should be taken and abdominal muscle strengthening exercises may be performed. You should also consult an orthopaedics at the earliest.
For any further information, please write back to me directly.
