Is Diarrhea A Side Effect Of Irinotecan Used During Chemotherapy?
my husband us undergoing chemo with irinotecan. the nex day he was having diarrhea as in more than 5x in the afternn then another midnight. fecalysis was taken and saw the cyst portion 0-1 the rest nothing is seen. can we conclude that his diarrhea cane fr what he just ate and not pat of side effects of chemo?

I really appreciate your concern, most of the diarrhea are self limiting here it may not be due to chemo, but no need to worry about this, just care need to be taken for hydration else this it will come around on its own hope this information helps.
