Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear sir/ madam,
Considering the fixed appearence of this breathing problem at the time of walking to school, it is unlikely to be an anxiety or panic attack, which tends to reccur in specific situations or upon exposure to specific triggers. Every breathing problem may occur with palpitations, sweating, trembling and weakness in limbs, which make it appear like a panic/ anxiety attack.

I would like you to undergo a battery of tests to rule out any lung or heart disorder like ECG, Chest X-ray and if needed a HRCT chest alsi later. It is better to rule out these disorders before diagnosing any anxiety disorder. Also pls get a thyroid function test done.

you may see a physician for interpretation of these tests and further management.

Regards,
Dr. Sonia
