Is Dilnip Right Medicine For Protein Leakage With Having Diabetes And Pain Near Kidney?
sir,my aunt aged 59 a diabetic patient has protein leakage of 354 against normal range of 200. Her blood sugar level is also above the normal range ie., before and after fasting. She is feeling pain in the back where kidney is placed. She is undertaking travel every time.I worried of travelling when road conditions are bad .Please advice me whether she can travel? Protenuria which is abnormal is danger? she is now taking dilnip.Pls advise me.

dear sir I understand your concern.protein leak if it's mice albumin it shoul be below 20 if estimated in a spot urine value.if done in a 24 hr sample it should be below 30 mg/24 hr sample.if grater than 200 it's macro albumin.i am not aware about dilnip usually she should be given 80 mg of drug called telmesartan for Controll of protein leak.this is a early stage of kidney damage you should be care ful......regards
