Is Double Dosage Of Lexotanil Advisable For Insomnia?

i am 56years old female no respiratory infection my bp is130/90 sine one week but I can not get saleep I have seen by I/m doctor she adv me lexotanil3mg in night and 3mgam bu t still since last 3days I can not get my saleep. can I take 2lexotani for my saleeping only thanks yahh anxiety disorder but no headache no shoulder pain any type of pain no what about my saleep

Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query regarding insomnia and you are taking Lexotanil 3 mg in night time and still you are not getting enough sleep.

Double dose can be slightly more effective than single dose but I would NOT personally recommend to take on your own.

Since it is prescription drug and you must have to consult to your treating doctor before acting upon as it may carry some side effects especially considering your age (56).

It may also be helpful for your anxiety disorder but must be taken under doctor's supervision.
