Is Drainage Of Nasal Fleshy Tissue From Mouth Normal?

hAVE HAD WHAT FELT LIKE A SINUS INFECTION FOR A FEW DAYS, ACHEY in my neck and head, severe headache, ear pain, STOPPED UP NOSE, SCRATCHY AND SORE THROAT. So i was trying to breathe in deeply through my nose to get the excess drainage out, and blob of fleshy tissue ... bigger than a nickel size... with some blood came out down through my throat and out my mouth. It was behind my nose, because it has cleared my breathing through my nose. Is this normal? Worried what it was?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a blob or mass of fleshy tissue that came out of the back of nose and throat via mouth can be a thick mucous plug with blood clots that might have accumulated in the nose or nasopharyngeal region and obstructing the breathing..
On deep breathing it might have been moved out of its place and came out thereby clearing the nasal passages..
Nothing to worry about it, but in case if it comes again you can retain it in a small container and consult an Otolaryngologist for evaluation..
As your nasal passages are now clear it is a good sign..
As you still have infection you can take a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, decongestants oral as well as nasal, steam inhalations, saline nasal irrigations..
Keep away from chilled foods..
