Is Drinking Wine Safe After A Right Frontal Lobe Glioma Tumor Surgery?
I had a right frontal lobe glioma tumor surgery 16 days ago. Would it be harmful for me to have a glass of wine on Valentine s Day? I forgot to ask my surgeon during my first post-op visit on 2/6/17. I am doing well at this juncture and have not experienced any seizure activity either pre-op or post-op. Thank you.

Hello ,
thank you for your question . If you were my patient i would not suggest drinking alcohol in the early postoperative period (20 days ) Despite a glass of wine is not much , it can cause some significant side effects like high blood pressure , coagulation problems , central nervous system depresion and so on . I dont suggest drinking alcohol at this point .
