Is Droxyl 250 Proper Medication For Sore Throat,fever,cough And Tiredness?

Can droxyl 250 dt be taken for following combination of symptoms?

Sore throat, 100' fever, tiredness, and a bit of cough. I thought it might be flu, but hasn't seen any improvement with the help of over the counter flu medication since last 12 hours?

Hi,looking at your symptoms,you might be suffering Infection in the throat.

Droxyl(250 mg) two times a day is a dose for Pediatric patients around 6 to 12 years of age.For adults,the dose is 500 mg two times a day.

You need to take Antibiotic(like Droxyl) for 7-10 days,Analgesic(like Ibuprofen),Antacid(like Rantac),Antihistaminic (like Cetrizine),Antipyretic(like Paracetamol),Cough suppressant(containing Dextromethorphan) if it is a dry,irritating cough or Cough expectorant(containing Ambroxol,Guaifenesin) if it is a productive cough.

Avoid cold/spicy/oily food.Do warm Saline gargles.Drink lots of fluids(warm).Do Steam inhalation.Avoid dust and other pollutants.
