Hi Jong!
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.com.Younger infants and newborns with constipation should be carefully evaluated by their Pediatrician. Poor feeding can lead to dehydration and constipation, and so an evaluation of your infant's feeding habits and to make sure that he is gaining weight normally is important.increase fluid intake will help loosen stools.Dulcolax is not advised in small infants below 15 months.
welcome to healthcaremagic
please consult paediatrician and get a check up of your baby before going for dulcolux suppository infants have different bowel habits and from 3 to 4 times stool daily to once in 3 to 4 days may be normal
take care of proper feeding and best is breast feeding
welcome to healthcaremagic ,
In this age group the term "Constipation" does not exit and its a ABSOLUTELY normal condition as baby takes only liquid(milk). If the baby,s urine output is OK then no need for use anythings.STOP this kind of over/maltreatment .You have to know that even 1 in a week stool passing is normal.
thanks.
