Is Dull Pain In Testicles Due To Bladder Infection?

Hi, so my question presented itself about 7-8 weeks ago now. It started off as dull pain in my testicles, so I quit working out. 2 weeks later I had the pain still, I started to pee blood and immediately went to ER. They said it was a bladder infection and gave me 5 days of antibiotics. Well 2 more weeks went by with no relief, I went again and they said it was a bladder infection. A few days go by an pain was still a problem so I went to ER, they now said it was epididymis and gave me antibiotics for 10 days. Today is day 10 and still now relief, what should I do?

Hello,

In your case, I would advise you to go for blood test (complete blood count) and urine culture test without going for any other further medicines.

These tests will help in diagnosing what type of infection you are dealing with and what bacteria are causing it. In addition, we will also be able to find out what antibiotics are the bacteria sensitive to so as to start with those medicines.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
