Is Ecosprin Av Effective For Diabetics?

Hi, I am 61 and diabetic. Recently the doctor has also prescribed ecosprin av 75 for me. Although he says my cholesterol levels are not alarming, it is preventive with my diabetes medication. I am skeptical about starting new medication and also have read that it may have side effects like bleeding etc. Please advice.

Dear madam/sir,The advice given by your doctor is very good.
Ecosprin Av contains two medication.
1.asprin helps in preventing blood clots in fine arteries and it's beneficial in diabetes,what you said is also right it increases bleeding but the benefits are more than the risk.in my clinic I too suggest my patients to be on asprin.
2.Atrovastatin is a very good medication it not only reduces your cholesterol but also helps in maintaining good health of arteries.healthy arteries will prevent plaque formation and helps in smooth blood flow.it also helps in reducing inflammation in arteries.
I suggest you to go with your doctors advice.
