Is Elevated Creatinine Level A Matter Of Concern?
I had a blood test last week and the Creatinine reported was 1.31 mg/dL, an indication it was high. The average is reported to be between 0.76 and 1.27. Should I be concerned, and if so, about what. This blood test was in the office of my arthritic doctor.

You should get concerned as your Creatinine level is high. It can be early nephropathy condition. I suggest you to get check your blood pressure and sugar level as higher level of both can affect kidney called nephropathy. You should get check your serum urea also. Urine albumin investigation also needs to be done. I suggest you to consult Urologist for examination.
