I am an epileptic and for about 1 1/2 years I have thicken blood where I suffered a pulmonary embolism. CT has shown that all my organs are functioning well and the root cause of my thickening blood has not yet been identified. Am 51 was epileptic from early childhood can my epilepsy be the cause of my blood thickening
The chances of seizures causing clotting of blood or thrombosis is minimal to rare. But seizures can act as a symptom of some thrombotic conditions of brain.
It can be said that the pulmonary embolism you had was not due to seizures, but its root cause should be found out with further examination.
